Overview

Our Basic Life Support & Anaphylaxis course gives delegates 1 year of certification, perfect for medics who need to keep this up to date, but is also a great course for other clinic members to enable them to give basic life support, spot the signs of anaphylaxis and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to those visiting the clinic, thus potentially spotting and preventing any catastrophic events occurring.

Objectives and content

  • Recognise and manage an unconscious patient who is breathing normally
  • Recognise and manage an unconscious patient who is not breathing normally
  • The recognition of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
  • Management of anaphylaxis
